Dr. Vamsi chintalacheruvu

Dr. Vamsi is a skilled and compassionate general dentist . He graduated from dental school in India in 2008 with bachelor of dental surgery(BDS) degree, followed by earning his Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics. Over the next eight years, Dr. Vamsi practiced as both a general dentist and prosthodontist while also serving as teaching faculty in the Department of Prosthodontics at dental schools from 2011 to 2019. During this time, he contributed multiple case reports and research articles to respected dental journals.

 

Dr. Vamsi completed his Canadian Dental Licensing exams and NDEB certification between 2017-2018 while working in India. He moved to Canada in 2019 after obtaining his license as a general dentist. After a brief period in Manitoba, Dr. Vamsi and his family relocated to Alberta in 2020. In the following years, he worked as a general dentist in Red Deer and Wainwright before purchasing Southpoint Dental with his wife, Dr. Pachalla.

 

Dr. Vamsi is a member of the Alberta Dental Association and the Canadian Dental Association. He is registered with the College of Dental Surgeons of Alberta and offers a wide range of dental services, including crowns and bridges, root canals, esthetic dentistry, dental veneers, and complex tooth extractions. He is also certified in nitrous oxide (laughing gas) sedation and oral sedation for patients who may be anxious about their treatments.

 

Dr. Vamsi attended an advanced implant dentistry course in Mexico last year and is now offering dental implants for replacing missing teeth. He is also experienced in pediatric dentistry, providing fillings, stainless steel crowns, space maintainers, and treatments with sedation.

 

Above all, Dr. Vamsi’s priority is patient care. He believes in actively listening to his patients, addressing their concerns, and educating them on the best options for their oral health.

 

Outside of work, Dr. Vamsi enjoys exploring the beauty of the Canadian Rockies with his wife, Dr. Pachalla, and their young son.
